Originally built as an ale house in the 17th century, Bear Of Rodborough is situated 600 feet above sea level, within hundreds of acres of National Trust Parkland, and with views over the town of Stroud. It offers an award-winning restaurant and 3 bars. The Bear of Rodborough Hotel is ideal for country walks and it is a 10-minute drive to Stratford Park. The towns of Cirencester and Tetbury are a 20-minute drive away. Located in the oldest part of the building, the Library Restaurant at the Bear has views over the common. Fine food made with local produce is served. Traditional dishes are also served in the Bear Bar and Common Room. Guests also receive a discount for the property's own wine warehouse. The bedrooms at the Bear hotel are all unique and decorated in warm colours. They all have a bath and a shower and some of the rooms have views over the countryside or Woodchester valley.

A discount is available on pre-booked dinners. The property accept dogs into executive rooms only. However, a surcharge applies.
