Situated in a quiet corner of Grasmere, this hotel is set in beautiful gardens. The Grand at Grasmere overlooks the lake and is surrounded by majestic fells. It is just a 2-minute walk from the village centre. The hotel has several ground-floor rooms, one of which will accommodate a wheelchair. The bedrooms offer a TV and radio, and each have an en suite bathroom. The hotel has 2 spacious guest lounges, which have panoramic views of the fells. The hotel offers a bar which serves lunch, bar snacks and afternoon teas. On chilly days there is a log fire and a selection of board games and magazines. Nestled in Lake District National Park, The Grand at Grasmere is within a 20-minute drive of Lake Windemere and Ambleside.

For the comfort of other diners, the hotel requests that children under 5 years do not dine in the restaurant in the evening. Please be aware that if the main hotel is fully booked, a room will be reserved for you in Rillside Lodge which is located in the same grounds. The Lodge is situated just 50 yards from the main hotel reception with its own private parking and can be accessed via the hotel gardens on foot or via the road running alongside the hotel by car. The only difference between the lodge and the hotel is that guests come across to the hotel for meals. Only 2 rooms are suitable for wheelchair access or for those with mobility issues.
