The Weissensee Valley is one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Carinthia. Lake Weissensee is tranquil, free from pollution and feels gentle and silky when you dive in - soothing to the soul. The Weissensee Valley offers many excursion options and leisure facilities all year round. The Mediterranean climate with its many hours of sun provides pleasant water temperatures, gets you in a good mood and lets you enjoy long evenings outdoors. The lake freezes over in winter and becomes, with an approximate area of 6.5 km² the biggest ice surface in Europe. Avid ice skaters, walkers and cross-country ski enthusiasts from all over the world come together here. Chair and cable lifts for skiers are also available and are in immediate vicinity of the hotel.
