On the edge of Sherwood Forest, this modern YHA is situated in the scenic village of Edwinstowe. The hostel features a traditional restaurant, free parking and large gardens with a sun terrace. YHA Sherwood Forest offers bright and airy private and dormitory bedrooms. The majority of rooms contain bunk beds. There is also a colourful TV lounge with leather sofas, and a drying room for walking equipment. The lively hostel features a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering guests, and there is also a dining area. The restaurant serves light meals and hearty breakfasts, and packed lunches are also available. The YHA is a 5-minute walk from the famous Major Oak Tree, the alleged former shelter of Robin Hood. Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre is just 600 metres away, and there are plenty of walking routes nearby.
