Located right in front of Nishi Hongan-ji Temple, Izumiya Ryokan offers Japanese-style accommodations and traditional multi-course meals. Guests can request for relaxing massages or refresh in the spacious public baths and wear the provided Japanese Yukata robes. JR Kyoto Train Station is a 5-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A fridge and a flat-screen TV are included in each. The en suite bathroom comes with slippers and a hairdryer. A coin-launderette is on-site and guests can purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. Photocopying and luggage storage is provided at the front desk. Traditional multi-course dinners feature local specialties and a set-menu is available for breakfast. Meals are served at the guests’ rooms or at the shared dining room. Ryokan Izumiya is a 10-minute drive from Nijo Castle and Kiyomizu Temple. Higashi Hongan-ji Temple is a 10-minute walk away.

Guests without a meal plan who want to eat breakfast and dinner at the hotel must make a reservation at least 3 days in advance. Guests with a halfboard plan must check-in by 19:30. Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. Guests who wish to enter or leave the hotel after 22:00 must inform the hotel in advance.
