Located on a hilltop, Genmyoan boasts Japanese rooms with magnificent Amanohashidate and ocean views. It offers a soothing hot public bath overlooking Amanohashidate, massage treatments and an observatory terrace. Amanohashidate Station is 5 minutes away with the complimentary shuttle service. Rooms feature spectacular views from large windows, a tatami (woven mat) floor and traditional futon bedding. They are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and a mini-fridge. Yukata robes are provided, and some rooms have an en suite bathroom overlooking Amanohashidate. The Genmyoan breathes a classy atmosphere with kimono-clad staff, antique furniture and traditional decorations. Guests can browse the souvenir shop, or entertain themselves in the games room. A Japanese breakfast and a traditional multi-course dinner with local specialities are served at the guest rooms. Genmyoan is a mere 1-minute walk from Amanohashidate View Land, and a 5-minute walk from both Amanohashidate Onsen and Amanohashidate Jinja Shrine.

Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. The public hot spring baths are accessible from 06:30 until 9:00, and from 15:00 until 23:00.
