Set on a working farm in the Boyne Valley, Slane Farm offers free Wi-Fi and is located next to Slane Castle. It offers country-house style rooms, access to a self-catering kitchen and farm walks. Rooms at Slane Farm are located in the main building or in detached cottages. They include TVs, sofas and bathrooms with hairdryers. Guests have 24-hour access to the self-catering kitchen, which has modern appliances and free tea/coffee. There is a traditional dining room next to the kitchen. The lounge has local guidebooks and provides a comfortable area to relax in, whilst the TV lounge has an extensive movie library and board games. The farm operates a large dairy herd and also has horses and hens, guests can collect their own eggs for breakfast in the mornings. Transport to the historic sites of Tara and Newgrange, both less than 10 miles away, can be arranged for guests.
