Daintree Valley Haven offers a secluded and peaceful self-catering rainforest B&B retreat, surrounded by the Daintree National Park. Birdwatchers can spot over 140 different species throughout the year. Free WiFi is provided. Each air conditioned bungalow features lounge area, DVD/CD player, a private verandah, an en suite bathroom with a large shower and a CD/MP3 player. All include a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave and an electric stove. A coffee plunger and cooking utensils are provided. There is a BBQ area with a hot tub. Guests can enjoy walking tracks through the gardens and rainforest on the property. Guests at Daintree Valley Haven receive a daily breakfast basket, delivered to their cabin. It includes tropical fruits, juice, cereals, home-made jam and yoghurt, plus locally grown coffee and tea. BBQ facilities are also available. This 30-acre oasis is just 8 km from Daintree Village and a perfect base for visiting Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef.
