Explore the Bay of Islands on the YHA The Rock Adventure Cruise. It features an overnight boat trip with included breakfast, lunch and a BBQ dinner. Guests enjoy a bar and a lounge area with a fireplace and billiards table. YHA, Bay of Islands, The Rock Adventure Cruise features private and dormitory rooms each offering access to a shared balcony and communal bathroom facilities. All bed linen is provided. Towel hire is available. Cruise activities include fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and hiking. Guests are welcome to relax on the shared balconies and gaze over the beautiful blue waters and surrounding mountains. There is a dining room and a guest lounge offering board games and a book library. The Rock YHA embarks from and returns to Paihia Wharf.

From 25 September, 2016 until 1 April, 2017, please note that guests must be at Paihia Wharf by 16:45 for a 17:00 departure. The boat arrives back at the wharf at 15:00 the next day. From 2 April, 2017 to 24 September, 2017, please note that guests must be at Paihia Wharf by 15:45 for a 16:00 departure. The boat arrives back at the wharf at 14:00 the next day. A shorter 16-hour overnight option is also available and will have you returning to Paihia Wharf at 09:30 the following day.
