Back in the 19th century, the Orlando family opened La Lanterna, a traditional inn famous in Martano and throughout Salento. Mr. Donato renewed the family tradition and now offers rustic cuisine and en suite rooms. The spacious rooms come with exclusive furnishings. Modern facilities include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a TV. A continental breakfast is served daily. Guests of La Lanterna and the general public can enjoy local seasonal specialities including grilled meats, bruschette with local vegetables, and homemade pasta. The owner is also an expert pastries chef.
