It is well kept. furnished with loving care and has a wooden decor. Please note that the single beds and the bunk beds are 1.80 metres long. Matrei is at an altitude of 970 metres and at the entrance of the Virgental Valley. It is the most well known village in East Tyrol after Lienz. It is an excellent area for walkers. You can enjoy delightful walks for beginners or for the very advanced. The choice is yours.
