In the heart of Windermere village, Kays Cottage is typical village cottage furnished in a cosy style, with free Wi-Fi and parking (if permit requested at time of booking). Windermere Rail Station and National Bus services are within a 5-minute walk. Each room is decorated and furnished differently to give each room an individual identity. Rooms all have a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee and free toiletries. There is an extensive breakfast menu, including cooked, vegetarian and continental options. Kays Cottage guest house is less than 2 miles from Lake Windermere and 20 minutes’ walk from the Lake at Bowness.

From April to October the hotel has free car parking passes available for the pay-and-display car park opposite Kays Cottage. Please ask to reserve one when you make your booking. During the quieter months free parking is available on the road opposite the house. During the winter months, from November to the end of February free parking is available on the road opposite the house.
