Located on Sidmouth’s seafront, the Dukes inn is nestled on the majestic sandstone cliffs which form part of the Jurassic Coast. It boasts free Wi-Fi access, a bar, and a restaurant. There is limited free onsite parking available. The spacious rooms at Dukes each feature a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, an iPod docking station, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. The award-winning restaurant serves a daily menu using fresh local produce. It includes an assortment of fish and game. To accompany meals, guests can make the most of the fully-stocked bar. It offers a variety of ales, cider and wine. There is also a sea facing patio garden. From the inn, Jacob’s Ladder is less than 2 miles away. It leads to a viewing point of Jacob’s Ladder Beach and the entrance of Connaught Gardens. Sidmouth Golf Club is a short 5-minute car journey away and Beer Quarry Caves are also 16 minutes’ drive from the inn.
