The impressive Art Nouveau-style Schatzalp Hotel is a 3-star superior hotel and boasts a spectacular location on a sunny terrace above Davos. It is reachable with its own funicular and features its own, private ski area. The Schatzalp hotel can be reached by a 4-minute ride on its own funicular from the centre of Davos Platz. Fine cuisine is served in the Belle Epoque dining hall or on the Snow Beach terrace. Half board is available on request. It offers historic-style rooms and also features a sauna. Situated amidst a beautiful botanical garden with 3500 species of alpine plants, the Schatzalp is also well known from the novel "The Magic Mountain" written by Thomas Mann.
