Royal Island Resort & Spa offers beachfront accommodation on Horubadhoo Island in the Maldives. It offers 2 restaurants, a spa, and a wide variety of water sports and leisure activities. Guests can enjoy diving trips and sunset cruises. Those looking for more adventurous sports can try water skiing or kite surfing. Other recreational facilities include an outdoor pool, gym and tennis courts. Built with wooden materials, Royal Island’s villas feature a private patio with sitting area and views of the Indian Ocean. Each room has a TV and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Daily buffet breakfast is served at the beachfront Maakaana Restaurant, while Raabondhi Restaurant specialises in seafood dishes. Light meals and drinks are available at any of the 4 bars. The Royal Island Resort & Spa is a 30-minute wheeled aircraft ride from Malé International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival.

Please note that the resort is only accessible by the mandatory air transfer provided by the resort. Guests must advise their arrival and departure flight details at the time of booking, or at least 72 hours prior to arrival. The wheeled aircraft transfer lasts 30 minutes, departing to and from Malé International Airport. This additional cost is to be paid directly to the resort. Till 27 December 2017, round trip transfer costs are as follows: Child (below 12 years) - USD 126 (subject to tax) Infant (below 2 years) - Free Please note that to be able to get to the resort on the same day, guests must arrive on their international flight before 15:00 in order to catch the domestic flight and speedboat transfers. The resort is unable to arrange departures before 08:30. Guests with international flights earlier than 08:30 should check-out the day before their flight.
