This hostel is located in the middle of several cross country ski tracks, within 100 metres of Gaustablikk Ski Centre and Lake Kvitávatn. It offers a shared kitchen, a sauna and a garden with a playground. WiFi is free throughout the property. Gaustatoppen Hostel’s rooms have wooden décor and an armchair or seating area. Toilets and showers are either private or shared. In the summer, guests can enjoy a game of frisbee golf, rent a kayak or a canoe and fish on Lake Kvitávatn. Other facilities include a terrace and a BBQ area. In the winter on-site rental of ski equipment is available, along with ski storage and a preparation room. Breakfast and lunch packs can be ordered year round. Dinner can be ordered from mid-June until mid-October. Gaustatoppen, southern Norway’s highest mountain, is 5 km from Hostel Gaustatoppen. Rjukan and Dale are within 20 minutes’ drive.
