Set in a quiet location in the centre of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Unterwirt offers an Alpine-style house and farm animals, that children can pet. Opposite the Bachlift Cable Car, Unterwirt sells ski passes, hires ski equipment and offers ski-to-door access. The units are equipped with free WiFi, satellite TV and a balcony. Studios and apartments at Unterwirt also feature a kitchenette and dining table and living area. Private bathrooms come with a bath or shower. Half board and breakfast can be arranged in the partner hotel Kärntnerhof. Free access to the Spa and Wellness Area is offered at the partnered Hotel Kärntnerhof, which is next door. Facilities include a hot tub, sauna, steam bath, sun bed, indoor swimming pool and massages. There is also table tennis, tennis courts and mini golf. St. Kathrein Thermal Bath is a 3-minute walk away. A ski school for both the young and old is also next door. Supermarkets and restaurants are within 250 metres. Lakes Brennsee and Millstättersee can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Guests get the Kärnten Card for free and can benefit from many discounts. The Unterwirt is also partner of the Family Euro programme, that offers a whole range of activities and leisure experiences, sports, games and organised programmes for teenagers. From April to October, the Kärnten Card is included in the price. It comprises many free benefits and reductions all over Carinthia, including free use of the local cable cars. From 07 January to 03 March 2017, a 6-day ski pass for a child up to 12 years old is available for EUR 6 if at least one accompanying adult buys a 6-day ski pass. During Ski Spa Week from 04 March until 02 April 2017 the ski pass is included in the rate.
