Located in the heart of Cairo, this hostel is 10 minutes’ walk from the Egyptian Museum and the Nile. It has a terrace and rooms with a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available. The rooms at the Cecilia Hostel are simply furnished and have wooden flooring, air conditioning, ironing facilities and a mosquito net. Some rooms have a private bathroom. The Cecilia serves a large breakfast prepared with local, seasonal ingredients. It also has a spacious terrace and a bar where guests can watch sports. The Cecilia also has a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk where guests can arrange visits to local museums and attractions. Excursions to the Pyramids, Giza and Sakkara can also be arranged. There are bus stops nearby, and Tahrir Square and the American University of Cairo are within a 3-minute walk of the hostel.

Please note per local law, Egyptians and Arab nationalities are not allowed to stay in the Single Bed in Mixed Dormitory Room. Egyptian and Arab national couples must present marriage certificates in order to stay in the same room together.
