This restored 12th century monastery is surrounded by the green hills of Maremmana in Tuscany. It offers an outdoor pool, and rustic apartments with satellite TV and a washing machine. Follonica is a 25-minute drive away. Terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and antique local furniture characterise all apartments at Il Convento di Monte Pozzali. Each is equipped with a kitchenette and dishwasher. Some have original fireplaces. Bikes are a great way to explore the area, and can be hired at reception. Guests can relax on the sun terrace by the pool, or book a massage. Ferries to Sardinia and the Island of Elba leave from Piombino, 50 km away. It is a 30-minute drive to Grosseto, and parking is free.

The swimming pool is open from May to October. Towels and bed linen are changed once a week. Daily change of bed linen/towels and daily cleaning are available upon request, at extra charge. Please note that gas is not included. At weekends, guests may experience some noise due to events organised in the restaurants, which will end maximum at 00:30.
